Exhibition Special#07 Wakata Sayaka -Make a vessel that naturally enriches the modern dining table-

A ceramic artist who will be exhibited at the exhibition "Manufacturing that will lead to the future"It is an introduction of Young Sayaka.

Exhibition Special#07 Wakata Sayaka -Make a vessel that naturally enriches the modern dining table-
I was impressed by seeing a potter in making a bowl in a portrait, and decided to go to the potter's path at the age of 18.
The work using clay between ceramic soil called semi -magnetic soil and magnetic clay is designed to suit modern life and special day dining table.
By using half magnetic soil, a durable and hard -to -chopsting vessel contains both the soft impression of the pottery and the delicacy of porcelain.
By unifying the inside in black, we are producing vessels that fit any ingredients without being aware of the container to the dishes.

At the exhibition, we handle plates, bowls and sake ware.
Please enjoy a work that has been blown up by a young writer.

SAYAKA WAKAIKI
Creating Tableware to Naturally Enrich The Modern Dining Table

She was moved while watching a potter make a bowl on a potter's wheel, and at 18 she decided to pursue her own path as a potter. I think semi-porcelain clay is perfect for today's tableware because it contains both the softness of pottery and the delicacy of porcelain making it durable and resistant to chipping and ideal for modern life and special occasions. The inside color of the tableware is black which is ideal for today's busy people who can use it to serve any kind of food without having to worry about matching Tableware to Food. I Use The Lefver Clay Clay from WHEN it is Shaved.
