[REVIEW] Okinawa's unique craftsmanship around 7 writers

Okinawan container delivered since March.

The rich sensitivity and aesthetics that are nurtured only because of the land of Okinawa, which has its own history, culture, and nature is a source of unique works.

In other words, if you look at one piece of work, you will be able to rediscover the charm of Okinawa if you like each creator more.

I can't wait for the arrival of the summer season,

Serendouce Crafts members will review the seven creators they met in Okinawa.

One of the charms of Iki's work is that you can feel the culture and history of Okinawa, despite being a bowl that is close to modern life. "Mintama", which is one of the representative works, is a container that was burned in Okinawa before the 16th century in a kiln village called "Yuta ware" in Okinawa, and the soil that appears inside the vessel is revealed. Since the point hit on the part looks like a highlight, it is named "Mintama", which means the centerpiece in Okinawa's dialect. The "Dyeing" series is a beautiful gem with blue that is clear on a beautiful white background.

One of the charms of Kinjo's work is the rich color that reflects the scene of Okinawa. The opportunity to make a colorful work dates back from a friend who is a school teacher to take a ceramic class. The bright colors would be more happy for the students, and when they prepared pink and yellow, the work that was accidentally made was very fresh. The representative coral blue vessel is the one and only work that adds a glittering texture of vivid blue and glittering glass crystals. The user's feelings are brighter and positive.

A work of Mr. Yamada who was caught in a gallery in the Yachimun no Sato with a studio. That's because the rich colors and bold brushes, including red paintings, are blowing energy into the work. He says that what is inspired is in the nature of Okinawa. "I think that the people in Okinawa who live with nature have such a sense of color unconsciously, and they are naturally influenced. Basic. " In the work, the power of the nature of Okinawa is condensed.

#04 Iguchi Kobo Haruharu Iguchi

Vivid cobalt blue, a pattern that is dyed with the creativity expanded, and a simple and modern form of Iguchi -san's vessel. The dining table is strongly conscious of Mr. Iguchi as a stage to spread the vessel. The bowls in the hands of a bowl are thinner than the general Yachimu, and I feel that it is a "light and easy -to -hold bowl". There is a lot of compassion for the vessel user, who wants to please those who make cooking and feel comfortable eating and feeling comfortable.

Colorful colors, bold lines, and delicate patterns include creativity that resonates with the heart. Rather than pursuing the ease of use of the vessel, it is said that it is your job to express creative elements that resonate with your heart. You can put accessories as well as as a bowl to cook. I want you to use it as you like. The design that comes from a wandering experience in Asia to experience everyday life in everyday life will tell you the excitement of the fox.

#06 Oshiro Kobo Masafumi Oshiro

Despite producing a sake jar that store Awamori, Oshiro has opened the path as a potter because of the feeling of free expression by pottery. Oshiro's work is full of individuality, such as vivid colors, beautiful painting lines, and unique textures created by the contrast between matte fabric and shiny painting. You can feel the love of Okinawa through the work, such as using the traditional pattern of Yachimun, the mud called "Kucha" that can be taken in Okinawa as a glaze.

"Tree" is common to Heian Mt. We launch "Hira and Rice Products = flat rice", which are named after each other's initials, and create furniture and vessels. The work that is born from the humor of humor that can be expressed only by two people is familiar and loving. The container uses trees grown in Okinawa. You can enjoy the expressive wood grain that nature weaves and the scent of trees.
