Manaman Yamada, one of Okinawa's leading potters. When you visit the gallery in the Yachimun no Sato, where you have a workshop, you will be caught in a prestigious but energy -filled work.
It is said that in the late 30s, he was pursuing plain beauty. The words from the Japanese Folk Arts Museum and Shigeo Suzuki, "Please move forward for what you want to do," became a big turning point, and painted boldly with vivid pigments. You will be able to master your current style. The painting is performed outside the light, wind movements, the sound of insects, and the natural situation, and the brush is moved, and while opening itself and accepting the nature that surrounds themselves.
The masterpiece is a red picture painted with red. The dynamic brush brushes and the rich color sensation are easy but easy to look at, and it is a fun work just looking at it. Mr. Yamada who likes passionate red color is also the color of the earth. It is said that the empty thing in Okinawa and the warm breeze will make their feelings and painting easier.
He says that what is inspired by the nature of Okinawa is in the nature of Okinawa.
"The plants grown in the strong sunlight in Okinawa have vivid colors and the outline. The fish that swim in the sea are the same and are close to the primary colors. For Okinawans who live with nature, unconsciously such colors. I think that it is stuck and influenced by the end of the thing. I think that each color and shape, such as the expression of the sky, the wind, the sunset, and the movement of the human beings, are expressed when they are fused.
Why do not you touch a work that feels the natural energy of Okinawa that springs out?
